In one of our more entertaining jobs to date Manchester based Francesco Ltd asked us to create a beautifully simple iPhone application. The brief was to create an application that counted up from the last time Man City had won a major trophy. That was all.

We were supplied with an image of a disgruntled city fan and a naughty giggle and told to do our best to design and build the app to a strict budget.

The app was approved the day 50,000 fliers had been printed and were distributed around Old Trafford the following weekend. The app went straight into the App store at number 5, rising to number 3 after the game.

Francesco are set to head into profit within 30 days and are delighted. The City fans less so.
