Samsung - Princes Trust Facebook app

On the 26th March Samsung will be 'going red' to highlight its support for the Prince's Trust.  This will be marked by Samsung's logo turning red for a day in iconic locations such as Piccadilly Circus, The London Eye and Leicester Square.

Cheil UK approached us at the beginning of February with a great campaign idea using Facebook to create a huge canvas of people's faces, turned red, to be diaplayed at these iconic locations.

The concept revolved around the delivery of a robust mechanic to make the face red and then to be able to explore the huge canvas of red faces. We produced an early proof of concept that hit the brief and went on to deliver.

The Facebook app we created would capture hundreds of people's faces, turned red in support of the princes trust and the resulting canvas would be used as wallpaper at the events on the 26th and also shown on the big screens at Piccadilly and Leicester Square.

The app went live in early March and was taken down after the campaign finished at the beginning of April, you can see some screenshots in the gallery or watch the wrap-up video below to see where the canvas was used!
