This edition of Top of the Apps is helped on its way buy a summery vibe.
Â
We’ve spend a fair bit of time on the roof terrace, did we mention we had a roof terrace?
Â
It has a flag.
Â
Anyhow, we’re also all heading off on wee trip’s here and there and feeling a bit more festivally than usual.
Â
This is reflected in this month’s Top of the Apps, which goes as follows:
Â
Â
Â
Chris (
@cpshodgson) has a summer of weekend minibreaks of fun lined up. He’s been using this app to never miss a train …and if he does he’s got a backup plan.
Â
Teh app has been created for all platforms so whatever that is in your pocket download the app below:

Katie (
@khoughton) passed this one my way & *thank you*. Having seen Radio Soulwax play a few times I’ve always liked the video montage that accompanies the set. What Soulwax have done is make a compilation of these visuals and let you have them on an app. Press play, stream to your apple TV and kicking tunes come out the other end.

Â
This is an awesome app. You speak what you want into the mic and it turns it into a song. We used it to create our new company song:
Â
Â
Its free and has a clever in app payment mechanic that allow you to download more effects and backing tracks. This is what in app payment is all about.

Chris has been doing some bad ass cooking recently and a few weeks ago went for an entire week only eating Jambalaya. In order to perform the feat of creating such a dish he first had to convert his American rezipe into metric measures.
Â
The EZ converter did that nicely.

Â
We first met String a while ago and they launched their awesome Augmented Reality Platform last month. We can’t wait to get commissioned to build some awesome apps using this bit of kit.
Â
Â
Â
Continuing the food theme, our very own
@kidcapricious loves this app. It offers excellent & vast recipes with user reviews & great content. Available on ALL mobile platforms:
Â
Â

Â
Enjoy the summer
