Top of the Apps - April 2013

Aprtil has been crazy-busy at putitout but despite this, we still had time to do a poll on our favourite apps. Those that are life-augmenting, beautiful, cool, or even now crucial to our everyday existance.

At your service.

Who: Charlie

What: Bartab UK

Why: 'Bartab is a great new mobile first business that promises to change the way you buy and give drinks - including paying and queing. The payment resides on your phone, is displayed on a tablet at the bar and all you need to do is collect. Perfect for sending someone a BD drink, or just saving time for the important things!'

Who: Emma

What: Paper

Why: 'Not only can you scamp stuff up during meetings (or in a bar, on the tube - wherevs), but it's so beautiful and gorgeous to use. HEART.'

Who: Chris

What: Any.DO

Why: 'A really clean, easy to use, 'to-do' app that I've just started using for my personal life and is making my life soooo much easier. Because I'm not just a PM in my work time.'

Why: 'Same vein as Cinemagram but better, create short video clips that have a GIF feel but with sound \m/!'

Who: Rachel

What: Voxer

Why: 'I thought this walkiw-talkie app was ridiculous at first. It has now as good as replaced my Whatsapp usage. So quick, so fun.'
