putitout's End of Summer Summary

 

As light evenings turn to cool dusks there is a sated sigh of a summer well spent.  

Read on, dear readers, here's your chance to hear about what we've been up to at putitout... and what we've got in store for you next. 

This summer has been our busiest to date. That has meant a lot of deliveries and lots of happy clients. 

All we can discuss is on our website - as you know, much of our work we cannot shout about due to contractual constraints.

Notwithstanding, here are some great things we have built into work we cannot reference:

A heartrate monitor (iOS and Android app)

In-store loyalty voucher (iOS and android apps, using EagleEye)

Complex e-commerce web build driven using Drupal

Multiple Ubercart integrated payment systems

Yoga on the Roof Terrace

For the past ten weeks a group of clients and friends have joined us and instructor Mel Brittner (of FRAME fame) for probably one the best Yoga classes London's pigeons have ever seen.

Set amongst the tranquility of the Soho rooftops (police helicopters and air-con aside) it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day engrossed in the world of digital. Our thanks to Mel and everyone that came.

Yoga is over, on us at least.

 

End of Summer Table Tennis Open 2013

We are now turning attention to the next event on our rooftop. Keep free Wednesday 18th SEPTEMBER 2013. This will be the first annual putitout Table Tennis Open.  You chance to make history. Let us explain...

Way back in May the putitout team visited Cornwall for some surfing and strategy. During this time we built some high specification table tennis tables, using agile methodology.Have a read about it here.

Ever since this memorable trip the tables have been put to excellent use, and we will be hosting our very own TT 'Open' from 5pm in the afternooon Wednesday 18 September.

You are invited!  Please do come down from 5pm and show us what you've got, tabletennis@putitout.co.uk. On our rooftop. With drinks. Professional like. Obviously.

 

putitout Is 7 Years Young

 

We will celebrate our 7th Birthday on 7th September.  We're now old enough to know exactly what we are here to do but still young enough to have fun doing it.

We hope that shows.

Summer Solstice Party

Thanks to all who came along to our summer solstice party, held on the longest day of the year.

With a bicycle powered smoothie machine courtesy of love smoothies, a good sprinkling of summer luck (the rain stopped at 5pm) and a magic crowd we stayed atop the roof until well after dark.
