Responsive Southerly

Southerly are a super cool creative content agency who have some great clients like Shell, RBS, and Visa. Recently, they had their fourth birthday party which we all went to... It was really great fun, there were cocktails made by Head of Digital Luke who is a pretty good cosmopolitan maker, a proper Northerner's drink, apparently.

Anyway, Southerly decided that they needed a refreshing new responsive website which had super cool functionality and was just a bit great.

Southerly supplied some wicked designs for the new site, and at this point our technical expertise was called upon. We worked with them on the design and functionality and what might we might need before we took on the build.

We built this in Drupal and you may have already noticed that both the design and the content are responsive to screen size. So that users viewing on different devices see first what they are likely to need, for example if they are viewing on their phone the basic essentail details about Southerly are displayed simply and effectively, this expands as the screen size increases. (Given that the Government recently officially announced more than half of the UK now access the internet on mobile devices we thought this would be pretty important).

Anyway, that's about it really, Southerly were pretty pleased Luke even said 'as our tech-partner, putitout consistently deliver excellent technical solutions for our client projects, and now our own site. They are consumate professionals and deliver on time and on budget. Also, if you're lucky enough to get invited into PIO HQ, they make a damn fine Americano.' - thanks Luke.

We are continuing to build things for Southerly's clients now, so the whole thing has really worked our rather well for all involved.
