Behind the putitout rebrand...

I joined the putitout team last September. Understandably, with a focus on development, the brand aesthetics had taken a back-seat. But following excellent growth of the business, an expanding team, and conseqent in-house designer, it seemed like the right time to bring our identity in line with our progress.

Creating a new brand is quite an undertaking. It's more than merely a logo; a revitalisation of all communications reflecting the ethos of a company, as agreed by all those involved.

Of course, it begins with a logo.. Several in fact. Followed by lengthy deliberation, whittling down the concepts to the strongest, colour decisions, website design concepts ... the cycle repeats ... You get the idea.

We needed to an identity that truly represented our values. I wanted to accentuate our strengths and core competencies. The new brand is current, sharp, fresh and vibrant, with the minimum of fuss. It's straight-forward, to the point. Not overly embellished or self absorbed. There is a subtle visual cue - an arrow head on the 't' - and a slanted stance in the right direction; forwards.

As of today we're rolling out our new look in full, through all methods and forms of communication.

The long and short of it being, meet a new putitout! Pleasure to be acquainted.
